Little Sad One (Les Larmes) by Demetre H Chiparus
A delightful gilded bronze and ivory Art Deco figure on a Portoro marble base of a sad young girl wiping her tears with her dress. Exquisitely executed.
Date: circa 1925
Height: 17cm (6.75 inches) including base
Signed: D H Chiparus
Condition: Jewel-like small figure in excellent condition. Ivory is perfect and gilding and marble base are almost pristine.
